This is still one of my favourite riding holidays of all time and I have some very fond memories.

My France riding holiday was published in the Hoofbeats magazine in the July/August edition.

We rode through some of the most beautiful countryside, along bridleways, and through local villages and vineyards.  The food was fabulous food and we tasted some very nice red wine from the region of Bordeaux.  If you are a wine lover you will be spoilt with the opportunity to visit some of the many smaller boutique wineries with wine tasting nearly every day.

I travel a lot with my job and can confirm horse riding holidays are one of the nicest and most authentic ways to travel.  You really get to see the countryside, meet the people, taste real local food and learn about the local culture as well as get to ride a horse.  I am hooked as you get to see the countryside from a different perspective and you meet the locals you would normally not meet as a tourist.  It is a unique way to experience a country as you are off the beaten track touring with real locals.

If this is of interest get in touch as these rides do book out well in advance, especially the Bordeaux and Medoc horse riding trails.
